Irrigation/Drainage Selection

Standard Run-off Drainage

This is the same as any standard garden planter that has holes around the bottom of the container, where water is applied and simply runs out the bottom.

Wicking Bed Reservoir

The bottom of each Garden Barrel is left whole and enclosed, and additional space is provided to house gravel or other micro-aquifer material, from which wick(s) are extended, as with any wicking bed.

Hydroponic Plumbing

Intended for Garden Barrels that are connected, in series, to a common drainage/irrigation system. This converts the garden Barrel into a Super Dutch Bucket, by having a bulk-head fitting and elbows installed which are readily attachable to standard plumbing parts.

Stackable Hydroponic Reservoir

Self-contained, sleek hydroponic reservoir stows neatly at the bottom of the Garden Barrel. This unit readily stacks under the Garden Barrel and provides water/nutrient mix for your plants.. It has an access hole for your pump(s) and hoses.
