Surface Pro firmware update brings battery reliability improvements and more

Microsoft recently began rolling out a fresh gear up of firmware updates to the Surface Pro (2017). Available for both the standard Surface Pro and Surface Pro with LTE, the updates resolve a potential security issue and ameliorate battery reliability, Microsoft says.

Here's a look at what's new for Surface Pro:

• Surface System Aggregator Firmware – Firmware - 234.2110.770.0 resolves potential security vulnerabilities, including Microsoft security advisory 180002.
• Surface System Aggregator Firmware – Firmware - 234.2110.1.0 improves battery reliability.

The Surface Pro with LTE has received the same fixes, simply each includes a different version number. Here's a wait:

• Surface UEFI – Firmware - 233.2110.770.0 resolves potential security vulnerabilities, including Microsoft security advisory 180002.
• Surface System Aggregator Firmware – Firmware - 233.2111.256.0 improves bombardment reliability.
